It's actually even worse -- the girls being spat on are the Orthodox ones -- the ones doing the spitting are the "Ultra-Orthodox" for whom the girls' orthodoxy isn't orthodox enough!
ReplyDeleteThere is no limit to the irrationality of religon. The funny thing is that both groups probably use the same principles or texts as justification for their actions.
